A borough police officer is accused of ongoing domestic violence against a female victim.
Sgt.
Michael Taulane, 41, of Collingswood was charged Friday with aggravated
assault in the case. Authorities said they learned of the alleged abuse
the previous Monday.
Taulane, a 22-year police veteran, was
released on bail and ordered to have no contact with the alleged victim.
He surrendered all weapons he had, authorities said, and is suspended
without pay from his job pending the outcome of the case.
