Sean Heyenga waived his preliminary hearing Monday.
Police reports say a drunk Heyenga strangled his wife Nicole until she became unconscious. When she came to, she reportedly ran to neighbors to call 9-1-1. Reports also say he attacked her so fiercely he left marks on her neck.
The incident allegedly happened in December at their home near 63rd and Blondo. Court documents say Heyenga has been violent with her before, but she has been afraid to come forward and tell police because he's an officer.
Heyenga is on administrative leave with the Omaha Police Department.

What a joke Mr. Heyenga is, if you look at him in person an empty person exsits! I have watched him for years with his blank harsh look at the gym! How sick to treat his wife and handicap step son with such hate! He will pay for this, she will get strong! Sometimes you need to look long and hard and changes for her will come! God Speed Nicole! According to his facebook page he is now living in Guatay, Ca. Someone needs to investigate this pathetic disgrace to his family to ensure he is not currently working for any of the police agencies and if he is, the proper authorities need to be notified along with the residents of the area. By law he is not even allowed to carry a gun after such an incident. To Nicole, never, ever let a mentally unstable coward like this intimidate you in any way. If he does anything whatsoever he knows what will happen.
I try to imagine that he did this to my little girl. This little pig's in the Alpine area of San Diego, someone needs to soon pop a cap into his head when he's not expecting it. This cops life clearly doesn't matter.
It would appear that Mr. Heyenga is now hiding in Florence, Oregon at (1360 Airport Rd 97439) a location perfectly positioned for anyone in the Portland area that might be interested in venting some frustrations at a very well known racist pig. He may also be hiding under the name of Sean Brady. There will be no hiding.
This Sean Heyenga coward is a dead man and there isn't anything in this world that can stop that now, which is very likely why he now resides in Oregon. If there is any cop out there that aids or assists Mr Heyenga in any way whatsoever that cop is also very obviously a coward and a disgrace to the uniform and that cops family members will also be in immediate danger, this is a guarantee.
